Gold Kiwi: Painted

follow up on the Kiwi
the photographs make it look better than it does in person
I'll take proper pictures later,

I'm not happy with the paint job though, Idk why, maybe someone can tell me...its bugging me pretty bad, perhaps because its 2am.


Finally finished the mold, cast a few resin kiwis out of it
Mold wasn't perfect ):
Silicone didn't cure properly against the Chavant clay
...so some of the detail, and some bits of fur were lost, which I had to carve/resculpt into the resin copy

makes me a little sad, but oh well, first attempt at mold making. Next time I won't be so cheap and try cut corners ><
